Matic referral code: what the Annual Bag Pass actually gives you

Matic’s referral program doesn’t hand buyers cash or a percentage off. Per Matic’s own support pages, the referred buyer receives an Annual Bag Pass — a full year of HEPA bags with free shipping — which Matic sells separately for $96.

What the Annual Bag Pass is

Matic’s robot collects debris into disposable HEPA bags, and the Annual Bag Pass is Matic’s subscription-style bundle covering a year of those bags with shipping included. Matic describes the program in its Bag Pass support article and lists the Annual Bag Pass on its accessories store for $96.

For specifics Matic controls — how many bags ship, on what schedule, and to which regions — rely on those official pages rather than any third-party summary, including ours.

What the referral adds, on each side

Matic’s referral program page describes two distinct benefits:

  • The referred buyer — you, if you use a referral link — receives the Annual Bag Pass: a full year of HEPA bags with free shipping.
  • The referrer receives $100 in Matic store credit. That credit goes to whoever shared the link (for links on this site, that’s this site’s owner), never to the buyer, and it is store credit — not cash.

So if someone promises that a referral lowers your Matic price by $100, that’s not how Matic describes its own program.

How to verify the benefit in your cart

  1. Arrive at maticrobots.com through the referral link.

    If you browse away and come back directly, the referral may not attach.

  2. Add the robot and open your cart or order summary.

    Look for the Annual Bag Pass, or an equivalent referral line item, listed alongside the robot.

  3. Only pay once you can see it.

    If it isn’t shown, contact Matic support before ordering rather than hoping it applied.

Limitations worth knowing

  • Referral programs can change, pause, or end without notice. We verified Matic’s terms on ; the version that governs your order is whatever Matic’s pages say when you buy.
  • The $96 figure is Matic’s standalone listing price for the Annual Bag Pass, not a promise of what the benefit is “worth” to you — its value depends on actually using the bags for a year.
